One of the most widely used methods for camping and backyard cooking is grills outdoor cooking method. Grilling is a method of cooking in which direct heat is being supplied to the food allowing the flavor of the smoke and fire to be sealed in. There are a number of variations of outdoor grills and many are based on size, features and cost. Grills outdoor cooking is the most commonly carried out by equipment such as gas fueled cooking grills and charcoal cooking grills.

The grills outdoor cooking of charcoal consists of a hollow metal hemisphere surrounded with three legs. Included in the design is a metal disc that helps in catching the ashes. The charcoal is held in the lower grate. The food is cooked on the upper grate. The grills outdoor cooking of charcoal also uses a substance known as briquette allowing the fire to burn. The fire and smoke is what makes the taste of grilled food so good.

The Outdoor cooking charcoal grills consist of different sizes such as square, round, rectangular. Some of the grills come with a lid to not only protect the food, but also allow for the heat to remain consistent. Some models do not include a lid due to ventilation concerns. One safety tip is to always ensure the outdoor grilles are used in areas that are well ventilated. They should not be used indoors unless specifically stated in the owner's manual.
