One must also be able to prepare these common French specialties: Hors d'oeuvre, like Huitres or raw oysters, Escargots de Bourgogne or Burgundy snails, Foie gras or Goose liver pate, Quiche lorraine or Quiche from Lorraine, Soupe à l'onion or French onion soup, Terrine de saumon or Salmon terrine, or fish soup complete with a sauce and Moules marinières. These are steamed mussels complemented with the sauce of white wine.




French cooking for kids should be painstakingly exciting. Do not be scared to fail at times. After all, French cooking for kids takes practice. So even if no one likes the hors d'oeuvre that you prepared, always remember that delicious and appetizing dishes come out of adventurous and creative minds.
